Roles and Responsibilities

To support the Medical Office in provide high-quality patient care services to patients through our mobile medical unit (MMU) in the assigned villages.
Will be responsible to accompany the MMU for providing counselling services to the community, other field level communication and health education support to the program.
To ensure participation of the community during health camps.
Conduct health check-ups, administer medications, and perform basic medical procedures as needed.
To maintain records of patient registrations, dispense medicines and provide health education using IEC materials.
Ensure support and work in coordination with local community workers such as Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers for effective service delivery when the MMU is in the village and follow up.
Conduct individual and group sessions on reproductive health, mother and child health and nutrition, non-communicable diseases, HIV/AIDS, RTI/STI, family planning methods, and adolescent health.
Orient the Community Health Workers on counselling techniques and coordinate the outreach-based behavior Change Communication and psycho-social support activities.
Record keeping, management of the patient flow and medicine distribution.
Attend the periodic review meeting.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
