Key Responsibilities: - Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms continuously. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. - Conduct thorough assessments and document patients' conditions and responses to treatment. - Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. - Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. - Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans. - Provide support and guidance to junior nursing staff and students. - Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with hospital policies and protocols. Skills and Tools Required: - Registered Nurse (RN) license and relevant certifications (such as BLS, ACLS). - Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology and critical care nursing practices. - Proficiency in using medical equipment such as EKG machines, ventilators, and IV pumps. - Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills. - Ability to work effectively in a high-stress and fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and their families. - Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation practices. - Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient-centered care.
