Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee the QA function at our Bhiwandi factory. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in knitted garments, lingerie, innerwear, and sportswear and be capable of developing and implementing robust SOPs and quality systems to meet export buyer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish, implement, and monitor SOPs for quality control and assurance across all production stages — from fabric inspection to finished goods.

• Define and standardize AQL levels, inline, midline, and final inspection systems.

• Ensure compliance with export buyer quality and technical standards.

• Lead a team of quality controllers and ensure proper training and performance monitoring.

• Coordinate with merchandising, production, and finishing teams to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.

• Prepare and present quality audit reports, buyer inspection readiness, and corrective action plans.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality, efficiency, and defect prevention.

• Liaise with external auditors and buyer QA representatives for factory audits and product approvals.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in QA/QC within a knitted garment / lingerie / innerwear / sportswear manufacturing setup.

• Strong understanding of export buyer quality protocols and documentation.

• Proven experience in setting up and managing SOPs, inline and final inspection systems.

• Sound knowledge of fabric behavior, stitching techniques, and finishing processes.

• Ability to lead and develop a team, with strong analytical and communication skills.

• Based in or willing to relocate to Bhiwandi.
