We’re looking for a QA Lead to join our team and ensure top-notch product delivery through robust testing, automation, and innovation.📍 Location: Chennai 🧑‍💻 Experience: 5–8 YearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a QA Lead with strong expertise in testing E-commerce platforms and applications. The role involves ensuring seamless customer experiences by driving testing strategies, leading QA teams, and implementing automation across complex workflows like payments, carts, order management, and integrations.Key Responsibilities:

Lead QA activities for E-commerce applications (web & mobile), ensuring high-quality releases.
Design and execute test plans, cases, and automation suites for core modules such as product catalog, checkout, payments, search, and logistics.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and define test strategies.
Ensure thorough functional, regression, integration, UAT, and performance testing before production releases.
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices in QA processes.
Drive automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, etc.) for faster regression cycles.
Perform API testing for third-party integrations (payment gateways, CRM, ERP, delivery partners, etc.).
Conduct defect triage meetings and ensure timely closure of issues.
Track and report quality metrics to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
Stay up to date with E-commerce testing trends, tools, and automation practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5–8 years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in testing E-commerce applications/platforms.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile/Scrum practices.
Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JMeter, Postman).
Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing.
Good understanding of payment gateway integrations, order management systems, and APIs.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and QA integration.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
ISTQB/QA certifications are a plus.
