Description
Title: Manual Tester Location: Noida YOE: 3+ Key Responsibilities: • Analyze product requirements and functional specifications to develop comprehensive and well- structured test plans and test cases. • Execute manual test cases for web and backend systems to validate functional, regression, and exploratory testing needs. • Identify, document, and track bugs or issues using JIRA. • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX/UI teams to understand features, clarify requirements, and ensure high test coverage. • Perform thorough testing of applications across different browsers, devices, and platforms. • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and support troubleshooting and resolution efforts. • Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle and contribute to process improvement initiatives. • Mentor junior QA engineers and assist in standardizing testing practices and documentation. • Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and compliance requirements (if applicable). Required Skills and Qualifications : • Proven experience in manual testing of complex web, mobile, or enterprise applications. • Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and techniques. • Hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or JIRA. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in Agile processes. • Solid knowledge of testing across different browsers and devices (cross-browser/cross-platform testing). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively. • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality products. • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar. • Basic understanding of SQL for database validation and data integrity checks. Nice to Have: • Exposure to test automation concepts or collaboration with automation teams. • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD processes. • Experience in testing fintech or SCF products.
