Job Description

About the Role:

manual testing

Key Responsibilities:

Understand business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to prepare comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Execute manual test cases across web and mobile platforms (both Android and iOS).
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA or similar.
Perform regression, integration, functional, smoke, UI/UX, and exploratory testing.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Validate bug fixes and carry out impact analysis of changes.
Ensure adherence to test processes and document test results clearly.
Contribute to improving QA processes, test documentation, and product quality.

Must-Have Skills:

3–5 years of hands-on experience in
manual testing
.
Strong understanding of
SDLC, STLC
, and defect life cycle.
Experience with
test case management tools
(e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
Knowledge of
bug tracking tools
like
JIRA, Bugzilla, or Mantis
.
Experience in testing
web applications, mobile applications (Android/iOS)
.
Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
Familiarity with
cross-browser
and
cross-device testing
.
Basic knowledge of
SQL
for database validation.

Good-to-Have:

Exposure to
API testing
using tools like
Postman
.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environment.
Basic knowledge of automation concepts is a plus.
