In-Process Quality Supervisor

What You’ll Do

• Inspect Incoming Materials:

• Perform 100% inward inspections within 24 hrs of receipt
• Manage quarantine/release decisions, targeting ≤ 4 hrs per lot

• Monitor In-Process Quality:

• Execute all production checkpoints per SOP
• Track and report in-process defects (≤ 2 per 100 units)
• Ensure first-pass yield on assemblies ≥ 97%

• Verify Final Products:

• Conduct final inspections on ≥ 95% of shipped units
• Log all inspection data in ERP on-time (100% compliance)
• Aim for < 50 ppm customer-facing defects

• Drive Corrective Actions & Continuous Improvement:

• Raise and close ≥ 90% of corrective actions within 7 days
• Reduce repeat defects by ≥ 5% month-over-month
• Lead at least two quality Kaizen initiatives per quarter

• Coach & Train the Team:

• Deliver ≥ 2 shop-floor quality trainings per month
• Host daily “quality huddles” to review metrics and blockers
• Maintain inspection instrument calibration schedules

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
• 3–5 years’ hands-on quality supervision in furniture, wood, or modular manufacturing
• Strong analytical toolkit (Pareto charts, 5-Why problem solving)
• ERP experience—comfort with logging inspections and generating reports
• Excellent communicator who can coach shop-floor teams to a “right-first-time” mindset
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
