Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Java-based automation frameworks, Cucumber BDD, API testing, and CI/CD tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for web and API applications.

Implement BDD test frameworks using Cucumber and Java.

Perform API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to identify and resolve defects.

Maintain and manage test cases, bug tracking, and reports using JIRA.

Integrate automated tests within Jenkins for continuous integration.

Analyze test results, identify quality issues, and provide improvement recommendations.

Ensure software meets business and technical requirements before deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Java (Core Java, OOP concepts)

Cucumber (BDD framework)

SQL (Basic to Intermediate queries)

Rest Assured (API Automation)

Postman (Manual API testing)

JIRA (Bug tracking and project management)

Jenkins (CI/CD integration)

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in agritech or e-commerce domain.

Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.

Basic understanding of cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
