Quality Assurance Engineer

You will be working as a QA Engineer at Deevita Technologies, focusing on testing SaaS platforms to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered to customers. Your role will involve validating database backend systems, data-related API interfaces, web services/applications, and data visualization and aggregation systems, with a preference for experience in SQL Server and related technologies. Responsibilities: - Understand the application's functionality and scope of work. - Familiarize yourself with system components, their interactions, and conduct various types of testing including functional, system, regression, and acceptance testing. - Execute detailed test plans using both manual and automated testing approaches. - Develop and maintain a repository of automated test scripts and test suites. - Report and track defects, as well as assist in triaging. - Write code using automation test tool scripting languages and engage in manual testing. - Manage a data pool for both automated and manual tests. - Support the Test Lead in creating status reports, test plans, test cases, and other testing-related documentation. - Adhere to quality standards/processes and meet provided time schedules. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related fields. - 3+ years of QA experience with a focus on data and analytics enterprise software systems, involving manual/automated testing, particularly in BI, ETL, and transactional systems. - Proficiency in Javascript, Cypress for test automation development, and test execution. - Knowledge of Postgres SQL or other RDBMS databases, with strong SQL query writing skills. - Understanding of QA processes encompassing test plan/test case creation, execution, bug tracking, investigation, and triaging. - Experience in release management and deployment workflow processes. - Strong communication, analytical, and reasoning skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Ideally, 1+ year of experience in automation test script development. - Familiarity with automation test tools like QTP, Selenium, etc. Possession of any QA certifications is highly desirable. - Exposure to healthcare and financial transaction processing systems would be advantageous.,
