Quality Assurance Engineer

Role: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Location : Remote

We are hiring a QA Engineer (4–10 years of experience) to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our global marketplace systems. This role involves designing test strategies, executing automated and manual tests, and contributing to continuous testing and release reliability.

Responsibilities-

Test Strategy & Planning-

● Collaborate with product and engineering teams to analyze requirements and define test plans

● Identify functional, integration, regression, and performance test scenarios Test Execution & Automation

● Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for backend services and APIs

● Perform manual testing for edge cases and exploratory scenarios.

API and Microservices Testing

● Validate REST and GraphQL APIs using Postman, SOAP UI, or similar tools

● Test real-time microservices for reliability, fault tolerance, and data accuracy

CI/CD and Continuous Testing

● Integrate automated tests into Jenkins or GitHub Actions pipelines

● Collaborate with engineers to ensure defect-free, frequent releases

Defect Management & Reporting

● Log and track issues using JIRA or equivalent tools

● Maintain comprehensive test reports and clearly communicate risks.

Requirements-

● 4+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA

● Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, testing principles, and STLC

● Experience in API testing and automation using Postman, REST Assured, or SOAP UI

● Hands-on knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python for test scripting

● Proficiency in SQL / MongoDB / ScyllaDB / DynamoDB for data validation

● Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git, Bitbucket)

● Familiarity with Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright frameworks using POM, TestNG
