Quality Assurance Engineer

As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include understanding the entire modules and their functionality by verifying the Functional Specification from the Jira tickets. You will be expected to build and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient automation frameworks, as well as write efficient, maintainable, and optimized automation code for UI and Backend Services. Additionally, performing peer code reviews according to coding standards, analyzing Cucumber Reports for failure results, and reporting product defects using Jira to Development teams for resolution will be part of your role. You will collaborate closely with quality assurance teams to identify areas for improvement in test processes and methodologies. It is crucial for you to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation technology and industry trends. Furthermore, you will be responsible for documenting automation processes, procedures, and guidelines for reference and training purposes. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in any one language: Core Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript. You should also possess 3 years of hands-on experience with any of the automation tools such as Selenium Webdriver, Cypress, or playwright. Additionally, a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Rest Assured, Cypress, or Postman is required. Knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Jira, and manual testing concepts is essential. A background in Computer Science, BE, or MCA is preferred, and any certification in testing would be advantageous.
