Quality Assurance Engineer

As a SAP QA Engineer at CLOUDSUFI, your role will involve driving end-to-end quality assurance for SAP and related systems. You will be responsible for implementing standardized QA processes, reusable automation, performance testing, and DR validation. Your focus will be on early risk identification, consistent documentation, and transparent reporting using enterprise QA tools and templates. Key Responsibilities: - Apply approved QA processes, tools, and templates across all SAP applications for consistent test planning, execution, and sign-off workflows. - Deliver full QA/QE coverage (manual, automation, and performance) across SAP application layers to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Develop scalable, reusable automation scripts focusing on critical and complex SAP functionality to support regression and CI/CD integration. - Integrate QA early in planning and change management cycles to identify defects, dependencies, and risks before deployment for shift-left quality enablement. - Leverage Jira for all QA activities, including test case design, defect tracking, API validation, task management, and workflow automation to maintain full traceability. - Conduct effective load and performance testing using tools like JMeter to provide metrics on capacity, response times, and system scalability. - Execute timely DR testing cycles with detailed test plans, scripts, execution results, and documented remediation actions for disaster recovery testing. - Provide regular QA status reports outlining progress, risk assessments, and mitigation plans. Maintain dashboards and metrics for automation coverage, defect leakage, and performance outcomes. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Silk Test, and Postman (API) for automation. - Experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter and BlazeMeter for load testing. - Knowledge of CI/CD integration tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitLab. - Familiarity with QA management and documentation tools like Jira, SharePoint, and Confluence. - Ability to use AI tools within Jira for intelligent test creation and optimization. - Proficiency in SQL and test data management for database and data validation.
