Position: Software Test Engineer (QA)Work Location: Work from home (permanent) Employment type: Full-timeExperience required: Minimum 4 years ***IMMEDIATE JOINERS REQUIRED*** Job responsibilities: 1. A talented individual is required with the ability to lead the testing of custom technology solutions.2. The ideal candidate will be accountable for defining the scope of test scenarios, understanding business requirements, executing tests, and reporting results.3. Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Selenium and Java.4. Conduct thorough manual testing and functional testing to identify defects and inconsistencies.5. Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, SOAP UI, etc. to validate API functionalities.6. Verify data integrity and accuracy through database testing using SQL.7. The role requires innovation in building and maintaining test accelerators to meet client needs and developing predictive and intelligent testing approaches for automation and innovative testing products and solutions.Additionally, the candidate will be involved in test coordination activities. Eligibility criteria: • 4 years of experience in software Quality Assurance Testing domain• Strong knowledge with different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile) and strong knowledge of testing principles.• Practical experience of Java coding• Proficient in Automation Testing using test automation tools such as Selenium with Java, Cucumber BDD and similar tools,• Advanced working experience in API Manual testing using Postman, Insomnia, etc.• Writing good positive and negative test cases for both manual and automated testing.• Experience in API automation testing tools like Rest Assured, SOAP UI etc. or any similar tools,• Professional experience in database testing using SQL (Coding in SQL included )• Strong professional experience in manual testing,Experience in functional testing (like, black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing, user acceptance etc.)• Excellent oral and written communication skills.• Basic knowledge of AWS is preferred.• Understanding of version control tools like Git is preferred.
