Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role: QA Automation Engineer Experience: 2 Years Package: As per the industry standards Location: Kochi, Kerala Job Type: Full-Time About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in TestComplete or equivalent to join our growing QA team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for our web applications. If you're passionate about test automation and quality engineering, we’d love to meet you! Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop automated test scripts using TestComplete (JavaScript preferred).Build and maintain modular, reusable, and scalable automation frameworks.Perform API testing and integrate it with UI test flows.Execute tests on cloud platforms like Bitbar.Debug test failures and collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.Prepare and share detailed test reports with clear metrics and checkpoints.Tools & Technologies We’re Looking ForTestComplete (Web Automation) or equivalentJavaScript (Scripting in TestComplete) or equivalentGit (Version Control using Bitbucket)JIRA (Test Management)Bitbar (Cross-browser / cloud device testing)Bonus: Experience with Shopify or eCommerce platforms, knowledge of GraphiQLWhat We ExpectStrong understanding of automation frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven).Experience in structured logging, custom checkpoints, and report generation.Familiarity with Agile methodologies.Excellent analytical and debugging skills.Nice to HaveExperience testing Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.Combining API automation with UI automation.
