QA & Automation Engineer
Experience: 4+ Years
Location: Ahmedabad
Work Schedule: 5.5 Days a Week (Monday to Saturday, Half Day)
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated QA & Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in manual testing, API testing, and automation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of QA processes and hands-on experience with automation tools, preferably Selenium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar
- Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts using Selenium or any equivalent tool
- Identify, log, and track bugs and issues through to resolution
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality
- Participate in regression, smoke, and sanity testing cycles
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of QA experience in manual and automation testing
- Solid experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Proficient in API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or similar automation tools
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with any test management or bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git
- Basic knowledge of scripting/programming (Java/Python preferred)
- Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus
