QA Engineer with 7+ years of experience

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Manual Testing

• Design, develop, and execute

  automation test scripts

  for UI and API using

  Playwright, Karate, and Cypress

  .
• Perform

  manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing

  .
• Develop reusable, modular, and robust automation frameworks.

API, UI & Performance Testing

• Automate REST/SOAP APIs using

  Karate and Cypress

  .
• Perform UI automation using

  Playwright

  with strong JavaScript coding.
• Conduct

  performance tests

  using

  JMeter

  , analyze results, and provide bottleneck insights.

Test Planning & Documentation

• Create detailed

  test plans, test cases, test scenarios

  , and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
• Participate in

  requirement analysis

  , story grooming, and sprint planning sessions.

Quality Assurance & CI/CD

• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using

  Jenkins and GitHub Actions

  .
• Ensure high-quality releases using automated smoke/regression suites.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues and enhance test coverage.

Database & Defect Management

• Perform

  basic SQL queries

  for backend data validation.
• Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA or similar ALMs.
