Job Description : We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our dynamic QA team in Mohali . The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in software testing, specifically in API Testing and Database Testing . The candidate should have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and be capable of designing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases. Key Responsibilities : Manual Testing : Execute manual test cases, report defects, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues. API Testing : Validate and test RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or any other API testing tools. Ensure proper functionality, security, and performance. Database Testing : Perform database testing using SQL queries to validate data consistency and integrity. Ensure the application’s interactions with databases are accurate and efficient. Test Case Creation : Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts. Bug Tracking : Report bugs in a clear, concise manner using bug-tracking tools like Jira, ensuring effective communication with development teams. Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design appropriate test cases. Regression Testing : Conduct regression testing to ensure new updates or features do not break existing functionality. Performance and Load Testing : Ensure that APIs and the application perform well under expected loads. Documentation : Maintain clear and concise test documentation for future reference. Required Skills and Qualifications : 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing . Proficiency in SQL for database testing, including writing complex queries for data validation. Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) .
