Job Title: Manual Tester

Experience Required: 3 Years Location:Mohali Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Manual Tester with 3 years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality by designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with the development team to deliver robust, reliable, and user-friendly software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to prepare test plans and test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and inconsistencies.
• Perform manual test execution across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing.
• Maintain clear and concise test documentation.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3 years of proven experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and executing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, or similar).
• Good knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman (added advantage).

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
