Quality Analyst Engineer

As a Sr. QA Engineer, you will test our product end to end using both automation and manual testing. You will build and maintain test scripts with Selenium for web and Appium for mobile, set up clear quality checks in the CI pipeline, work closely with developers to find the root cause of issues and prevent them from coming back, and share simple, clear test reports for every release.

Responsibilities

 Define test plans, test cases, and traceability to requirements/user stories.

 Build and maintain UI automation:

o Web: Selenium/WebDriver (Java or Python).

o Mobile: Appium (Android/iOS; real devices & emulators).

 Implement API testing (Postman/RestAssured), contract tests (Swagger/OpenAPI).

 Create reliable test data; manage environments; mock/virtualize dependencies.

 Run manual functional, smoke, regression, and exploratory testing.

 Add tests to CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab/Jenkins); parallel runs; flaky-test triage.

 Track defects (Jira), report test coverage, pass rate, defect leakage, and release readiness.

 Basic performance (Lighthouse/JMeter) and security checks (OWASP top issues).

 Collaborate with Engineering/PM/Design; participate in design/dev reviews.

Must-Have Skills

 Automation: Selenium (Web), Appium (Mobile).

 Languages: Java or Python (one strong; ability to read the other).

 Frameworks/Patterns: TestNG/JUnit or PyTest; Page Object Model; data-driven tests.

 API Testing: Postman/Collection Runner; RestAssured/requests; JSON assertions.

 CI/CD & Tools: Git/GitHub, Jenkins/GitHub Actions; artifact/report publishing (Allure/Extent).

 Manual QA: Test design, bug reporting, regression planning, exploratory testing.

 Mobile QA: Android Studio/Xcode simulators; device labs (BrowserStack/Device Farm).

Nice to Have

 BDD (Cucumber/Behave), contract testing (Pact), visual testing (Applitools).

 Performance tests (JMeter/k6); accessibility checks (axe).

 Docker basics; environment config; test containers.

 Analytics/monitoring validation (Sentry, GA).

 SQL basics for data verification (MySQL/Postgres).

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
