QMS Engineer

Job Summary:

The QMS professional is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the Quality Management System in compliance with applicable standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or industry-specific QMS requirements. The role ensures that the organization’s products, services, and processes meet customer and regulatory requirements consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 or relevant QMS standards.
• Develop and update QMS documentation (Quality Manual, SOPs, Work Instructions, Formats).
• Conduct internal audits and support external / customer audits.
• Identify non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Facilitate Management Reviews, QMS-related training, and awareness sessions.
• Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, and drive continuous improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, PDCA).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for CAPA, risk assessments, and FMEA activities.
• Maintain document control and version control system.
• Ensure regulatory and legal compliance related to product/process quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Science (Mechanical, Industrial, etc.)
• Certification in ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 (preferred)
• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in QMS or Quality Assurance roles
• Strong understanding of quality tools: 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, Control Plans
• Experience with audits and customer complaints handling
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/QMS software

Automotive, Manufacturing, Electronics, Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals (adapt standards accordingly like ISO 13485 or GMP for pharma/medical)

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
