About the Role:
We are hiring a QA Lead who will own and drive quality across Lucio’s products. You will be responsible for defining QA strategy, leading QA engineers, and remaining hands-on with both manual and automated testing. This role requires strong leadership, deep testing expertise, and close collaboration with engineering and product teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end quality assurance for Lucio’s AI-driven legal-tech products.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers and drive high-quality delivery.
- Define and implement QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Develop, execute, and review test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Remain hands-on with test execution, automation, and defect analysis.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Identify risks early, ensure timely releases, and maintain product stability.
- Track, prioritize, and report bugs using tools like JIRA or similar tools.
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation maturity, and QA efficiency.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
- Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring QA engineers.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a product-quality mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
