QA Lead

Summary

Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function using quality processes, tools, and methodologies. Improve control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and continuously improve the testing process by implementing innovative testing products and solutions.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Proven track record of completing automation projects on schedule and within budget

Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and influence data driven decision-making.

Your typical day will involve leading both manual & automation teams, designing and implementing automation frameworks. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs and ensure the quality of the product.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead & mentor a team of QA engineers
• Designing and maintain scalable test automation frameworks
• Ensure the quality of the product by developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects & issues.
• Continuously improve the testing process by identifying areas of improvement and implementing innovative testing products and solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure the success of the project
• Investigate the causes of non-conformity and train users to implement solutions
• Design, develop, and execute reusable automation script.

Must have

• The candidate must have 6 - 9 years of experience in Selenium and minimum of 2 years in lead role.
• Good understanding of STLC, acknowledge of JIRA or AZURE or other equivalent application.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Proactive and self-motivated with a string desire for continuous improvement
• Experience in Leading, mentor and guiding team
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, postman & JIRA or equivalent tool
• Experience in manual and automation testing
• Experience in developing & executing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts.

Good to have

• Knowledge of regulatory and security in BFSI
• Creation of manual test scenarios, test cases & test steps
• Experience in implementing cucumber framework
