We're looking for a QA Engineer who can think like a user, test like a pro, and automate like an engineer. You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to build test strategies, squash bugs, and ship flawless features. If you take pride in clean releases, love debugging edge cases, and enjoy wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving startup QA, you'll love this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain end-to-end test plans across Refold's platform, connectors, and internal tools.
- Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases before users encounter them.
- Collaborate with developers and PMs to reproduce issues and triage effectively.
- Validate new features and perform regression testing on critical paths.
- Build and maintain automation suites using frameworks, such as Selenium and Playwright.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to catch issues early and frequently.
- Monitor automation coverage and expand it strategically across high-impact areas.
- Analyze test failures, investigate root causes, and log detailed issues.
- Document test cases, QA strategies, and known issues clearly and accessibly.
- Share quality-focused insights during sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Participate in a sprint and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Advocate for exceptional end-user experience through diligent testing.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, manual, and automation.
- Solid grasp of QA fundamentals, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum workflows.
- Experience with bug-tracking & test management tools (e. g., Jira, TestRail).
- Proficiency with at least one automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
- Great communication and collaboration skills.
- A sharp eye for detail, a curious mindset, and a relentless drive for product quality.
- (Good to have: experience with JS testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, etc. ).
