Software Engineer

About the Role:

We’re hiring a Software Engineer at Refold.ai.

MUST have strong core Computer Science fundamentals. This is a rare opportunity to build and scale cutting-edge AI-first products. You’ll work closely with a talented team to design, develop, and ship features that power our growth. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data engineering, and AI, requiring someone who can think critically while executing with excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain applications using Node.js, Golang, Java, and other technologies.
• Design and manage data pipelines with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow), integrating MongoDB and SQL databases.
• Implement real-time systems using Kafka or similar messaging queues.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to build smarter product experiences.
• Work with DevOps to manage Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines.
• Enhance system performance, scalability, and security while adopting industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards in quality, performance, and security.

Must-Haves:

• Tech in Computer Science from a leading Tier-I engineering institute.
• 1–3 years of professional software development experience in fast-paced startup environment.
• Solid programming skills in Node.js, Golang, or Java.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB and SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or equivalent.
• Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Exposure to tools like Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Understanding of DevOps & CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks.
