Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with experience in the banking domain to design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable banking applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of banking operations, financial data processing, and regulatory compliance, along with expertise in Python programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain banking applications and systems using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and implement APIs for secure data exchange between banking systems.
• Integrate third-party banking services and payment gateways.
• Optimize existing codebases for performance, scalability, and security.
• Ensure the algorithms and processes comply with banking regulations and security standards.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot issues related to banking transactions and data processing.
• Maintain thorough documentation of architecture, code, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Python development, preferably in the banking or financial domain.
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and financial regulations.
• Experience with database systems such as SQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and data encryption.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Prior experience with banking compliance standards such as Basel III, KYC, AML is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Exposure to FinTech or payment processing systems.
• Knowledge of automation and testing frameworks.
