Purchasing Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Officer with 5 to 7 years of proven expertise in procurement processes, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effective and timely supply while maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, spare parts, and consumables.
• Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate terms, and build strong supplier relationships.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production for material planning.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
• Awareness of machining & fabrication process.
• Track market trends and new products to improve sourcing and reduce costs.
• Maintain purchase records, reports, and supplier evaluations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
