Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Kanpur. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers, evaluating supply options, and overseeing inventory levels. The role involves developing and implementing purchasing strategies, assessing vendor performance, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and components. The Purchasing Manager will also collaborate closely with other departments to meet the company’s procurement needs and objectives.

Qualifications

• Procurement and Supply Chain Management skills
• Experience in vendor negotiation and contract management
• Inventory management and forecasting skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of machinery and energy systems is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
