Purchasing Manager

As the Purchase Head at Surya Group, your role involves developing and implementing effective procurement strategies for all company requirements. Your key responsibilities include: - Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding reliable vendors and suppliers. - Negotiating prices, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective purchasing. - Finalizing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment. - Coordinating with project, engineering, production, and inventory teams to plan material requirements. - Monitoring market trends, price fluctuations, and supplier performance regularly. - Maintaining strong vendor relationships and conducting vendor audits when required. - Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and ethical purchasing practices. - Tracking and managing procurement budgets, cost savings, and price master data. - Resolving issues related to delivery delays, quality problems, or vendor disputes. - Maintaining proper documentation of procurement records, contracts, and price lists. - Preparing and submitting purchase MIS reports for management review. - Identifying new suppliers and developing alternative sourcing options to reduce risk. - Working closely with finance to ensure timely bill clearance and budget alignment. - Overseeing the procurement team, assigning tasks, and ensuring performance and process discipline. Qualifications required for this role include: - B.Tech / MBA / Any Graduate with a strong procurement background Key skills required for this role are: - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills - In-depth understanding of procurement processes - Knowledge of EPC/Solar/Construction material sourcing - Expertise in preparing purchase strategies and cost analysis - Excellent communication and leadership abilities - Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel - Strong analytical and price comparison skills - Ability to handle high-volume and time-bound procurement As the Purchase Head at Surya Group, you will play a crucial role in driving the procurement function and ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices while maintaining strong vendor relationships and compliance with company policies.,
