Purchasing Executive

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to oversee day-to-day procurement operations, vendor coordination, and ensure timely material delivery. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling procurement activities for civil, interior, or MEP works in the construction or fit-out sector.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and negotiate with vendors for materials, raise purchase orders (PO), and follow up for timely deliveries as per project/site requirements.

Maintain accurate purchase records and ensure alignment with budgets.

Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to understand material requirements.

Verify material quality and ensure it meets project specifications.

Liaise with accounts for vendor payments and resolve invoice discrepancies.

Assist in vendor development and maintain vendor performance records.

Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and documentation standards.

Skills

Good knowledge of construction/interior materials (civil, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (Tally/ SAP/ Buildsmart/ etc.)

Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

Vendor management and coordination capabilities.

Qualifications

Graduate in any stream (B.Com / B.Sc / BBA preferred).

2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction, interior, or real estate sectors.
