Architectural Draughtsman-Leading Real Estate Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Draughtsman with at least 7 years in real estate/construction. The role involves preparing detailed architectural drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with building standards to deliver high-quality real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and working drawings as per project requirements.
• Convert conceptual sketches and designs into accurate CAD drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with building codes, municipal regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and contractors for accurate execution.
• Maintain and update drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
• Assist in preparing drawings for authority approvals, tenders, and site execution.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and resolve drawing-related queries.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery of drawings within project timelines.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience as an Architectural Draughtsman in real estate, construction, or architectural firms.
• Diploma/Certification in Architectural Draughtsmanship or related field.
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office (knowledge of BIM is an added advantage).
• Excellent understanding of construction details, materials, and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail with effective communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualities

• Experience working on residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects.
• Knowledge of local building regulations and approval processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and consultants.

Education & Skills

• Diploma / Certification in Architectural Draughtsman or Civil / Architectural discipline.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, MS Office (BIM knowledge preferred).
• Good understanding of construction details, building codes, and approval processes.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and drafting standards.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with project teams.
