Job Description

Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Proactively identify, evaluate, and negotiate with a diverse range of vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible terms on quality, price, and delivery. Timely Procurement: Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from purchase order creation to the timely delivery of all necessary materials, ensuring production schedules are met without interruption. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, guide, and mentor the purchasing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Budgetary Management: Take charge of managing procurement tasks and associated budgets, ensuring all activities are conducted within financial-auditing compliance. Quality & Compliance: Uphold and enforce stringent quality and compliance standards for all procured goods and services, aligning with Harikrushna Machines' commitment to excellence. Process Optimization: Maintain and enhance the efficiency of procurement processes through proficient use of procurement software, ERP systems, and the MS Office Suite. Skills & Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably 1 within the manufacturing or engineering sector. Demonstrated strength in negotiation, leadership, and strategic decision-making. Proficiency in using procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Exceptional command of English, Hindi, and Gujarati languages, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication with a diverse stakeholder base. Why Join HMPL?
