Machine Technician / Machine Operator

Job Description

Operate packaging machinery including but not limited to form-fill-seal machines, shrink tunnels, labeling systems, and automatic wrappers. Perform setup and changeover of machines for different products and packaging sizes. Monitor packaging line performance, ensuring product quality and meeting production targets. Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs; escalate major issues to maintenance team. Perform quality checks on packaged products (e.g., sealing quality, label accuracy, weight compliance). Record machine data such as production output, downtime, and maintenance performed. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety standards, and company SOPs. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the machine area and adherence to hygiene protocols. Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve packaging-related issues quickly and effectively.
