Job Description

Knowledge of construction equipment and Crushers preferable. (Urgently Requirement)

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to crusher equipment manufacturing.
  • Source raw materials and components like manganese steel parts, jaw plates, liners, and bearings.
  • Identify and onboard reliable vendors for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Analyze and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and specifications for accurate purchasing.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and explore new supplier opportunities.
  • Ensure timely procurement of long-lead items to avoid production delays.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores to maintain minimum stock levels.
  • Collaborate with production and design teams to align material availability with project timelines.
  • Ensure all procured items meet the company's quality and technical standards.
  • Work closely with the Quality Control team for inspection and approval of incoming materials.
  • Track and control procurement costs in alignment with the company’s budget.
  • Manage documentation, purchase orders, and vendor records through ERP systems.
  • Coordinate with logistics for transportation and delivery of materials.
  • Keep updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options.
  • Support internal audits and maintain compliance with procurement policies.
  • Participate in supplier audits and assessments as required.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safety standards in procurement processes.

Qualifications :-

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce or related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of purchase experience in crusher or heavy machinery manufacturing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of crusher equipment and related spares.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
