Job Description

Key Responsibilities:- Lead procurement for materials such as:

Galvanized steel (GI/HDGI), aluminum extrusions
Fasteners, clamps, mid/end clips, rail accessories
Packaging materials, consumables, fabrication aids- Maintain technical expertise in:
Material grades, coatings, tolerances, and structural specs used in solar/fabrication applications- Build and manage a strong supplier network across:
Steel, aluminum, powder coating, galvanizing, fabrication- Source and develop alternate vendors to:
Reduce cost and risk dependency- Negotiate competitive pricing considering:
Market trends, logistics/freight, volume-based pricing- Manage full procurement cycle:
PR - PO - Follow-ups - GRN - Invoice/Bill Verification
Align procurement with:
Project schedules, BOMs, production plans, and inventory targets- Implement JIT (Just-in-Time) strategies for customized parts- Ensure proper documentation & vendor compliance:
