Job Description: Purchase Executive
Statcon Powtech Private Limited, a leading manufacturer of solar inverters and power electronics solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement operations, vendor relationships, and ensure timely availability of quality materials for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of raw materials, electronic components, and other parts as per production requirements
• Identify and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate terms, and establish long-term supplier relationships
• Coordinate with internal departments including production, R&D, and inventory to forecast material needs
• Ensure timely release of purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery
• Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery parameters
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
• Assist in cost reduction initiatives without compromising on quality and timelines
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant procurement regulations
• Collaborate with accounts and logistics for invoice clearance and material receipt

Technical Requirements

• Proven experience of min 3 years in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in electronics, electrical, or renewable energy sectors
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relations
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and material requirements
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in vendor development and global sourcing
• Knowledge of GST, documentation, and commercial terms
• Familiarity with components used in power electronics, solar inverters, or electrical systems
