Elmech Engineers is a Manufacturer of Kirloskar Green products with customers ranging from PAN India. Kirloskar is one of the largest suppliers and manufacturer's of Power Generation products of India.

Job Summary:

As a Purchase Executive, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing procurement strategies to secure cost-effective and quality supplies. You will work closely with our management team, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and negotiating favorable contracts with suppliers. Your expertise in managing inventory levels and quality control will be essential in maintaining our operational efficiency and meeting corporate needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with management team members to develop long-term strategies for procuring goods and services at optimal costs.

- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations related to purchasing activities.

- Conduct research on potential vendors to determine their reliability as suppliers.

- Manage inventory levels by forecasting future needs of supplies and equipment.

- Track and approve procurement plans and inventory levels.

- Select and negotiate contracts with supply vendors to obtain top-notch pricing on materials and items.

- Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet personnel and corporate needs.

- Implement quality control procedures to ensure received products meet required standards.

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing procurement strategies.

- Strong understanding of government regulations related to purchasing.

- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in vendor management.

- Proficiency in inventory management and forecasting.

- Ability to conduct thorough research on potential suppliers.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.
