Job Description

A Purchase Executive's job involves overseeing procurement by sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services at the best possible price. Key responsibilities include maintaining purchase records, collaborating with internal teams to meet requirements, monitoring inventory, analyzing market trends, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Sourcing & Management:Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with potential suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs.
  • Negotiation:Negotiate favorable contracts, pricing terms, and agreements with vendors.
  • Order Processing:Prepare, process, and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels, ensure adequate stock, and coordinate timely reordering.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and detailed records of purchases, pricing, vendor performance, and other relevant data.
  • Internal Collaboration:Work with internal departments to understand their purchasing requirements and ensure their needs are met.
  • Cost Management & Market Analysis:Identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor market trends, and analyze pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Compliance:Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Issue Resolution:Resolve issues or discrepancies with suppliers and deliveries promptly.
  • Strategic Sourcing:Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for assigned categories or products.
