Purchase Executive

Department:

Role Objective

procurement of mechanical, electrical, and manufactured parts

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Source, evaluate, and finalize vendors for

  mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fabricated parts

  .
• Issue

  RFQs (Request for Quotation), compare quotations, and negotiate prices

  .
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with reliable suppliers.

Purchase Process

• Generate

  Purchase Orders (POs)

  and follow up on deliveries.
• Ensure material availability as per

  project timelines

  .
• Coordinate with store/quality teams for

  material receipt & inspection

  .

Cost & Quality Control

• Identify

  cost-saving opportunities

  without compromising quality.
• Ensure that parts and components meet

  technical specifications & quality standards

  .
• Track and resolve any issues related to delayed deliveries or rejected materials.

Coordination & Documentation

• Work closely with

  design, project, and production teams

  for material requirements.
• Maintain

  purchase records, supplier database, and cost analysis reports

  .
• Support in vendor audits and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of

  mechanical/electrical parts, machining processes, and industrial components

  .
• Strong

  negotiation and vendor management skills

  .
• Proficiency in

  MS Excel, ERP/Inventory software

  (preferred).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple purchase orders simultaneously.

Qualification & Experience

• Education:

  Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical/Electrical) or B.Com with technical knowledge.

• Experience:

  1-3 years in purchase/procurement in machine manufacturing or automation industry.
• Freshers with good technical & negotiation skills may also apply.
