Role & responsibilities Quality Management System (QMS) • Implement, maintain, and continually improve the QMS in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards. • Conduct and support internal and external audits (customer, certification, and supplier). • Ensure documentation control and compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs). New Product Development (NPD) & APQP • Participate in APQP activities for new projects and engineering changes. • Develop and review PPAP documentation (Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC). • Ensure timely PPAP submission and approval from customers. In-Process and Final Quality Control • Oversee in-process inspection, final inspection, and dispatch quality activities. • Define control plans and inspection criteria for die-casting, machining, and assembly operations. • Analyze SPC data to ensure process stability and capability (Cp, Cpk). Supplier Quality Assurance • Evaluate and develop suppliers for quality performance improvement. • Review supplier PPAP and audit reports. • Implement corrective and preventive actions for supplier-related issues. Customer Quality & Problem Solving • Handle customer complaints using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and 5-Why analysis. • Coordinate with customers for quality issues, audits, and corrective action verification. • Maintain and monitor Customer Scorecards / PPM performance. Continuous Improvement & Lean Initiatives • Promote and implement Kaizen, 5S, and Poka-Yoke initiatives on the shop floor. • Drive quality improvement projects using data-based decision-making (SPC, Pareto, Fishbone, etc.). • Support cross-functional teams to reduce rejections, rework, and cost of poor quality (COPQ). Team Management & Training • Lead and mentor the quality team (engineers, inspectors, auditors). • Conduct training on IATF tools, problem-solving, FMEA, SPC, 5S, and Kaizen. • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the quality department Automotive components manufacturing. • Certifications: Trained in IATF 16949, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), and Internal Auditor certification preferred. • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Die-Casting Processes, machining, and surface treatment. • Hands-on experience with CMM, spectrometer, and other precision measuring instruments. • Excellent understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings. Roles and Responsibilities Manage daily store operations, including inventory management, stock control, and material handling. Ensure accurate recording of GRNs (Goods Received Notes), Delivery Challans, Inwards, Outward Clearing, Stock Register, and FIFO system implementation. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of materials. Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise during the process. Perform regular audits to maintain accuracy in stock records and identify areas for improvement.
