You will be engaged under Layam Group payroll, with salary and statutory benefits provided by Layam while working full‑time on the client’s shop floor/office. Layam Group Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in sourcing, purchasing, and follow‑up of raw materials, components, and services required for production. Vendor identification and evaluation including negotiation on price, quality, and delivery terms. Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per company policy and production schedules. Collaborate with internal teams (Production, Quality, Planning) to ensure timely delivery and resolve procurement issues. Track supplier performance and assist in vendor performance reviews. Maintain purchase records and ensure compliance with documentation requirements. Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Automobile Engineering or related field. 1 – 5 years experience in purchase/procurement (preferably in automotive or manufacturing industry). Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and basic ERP usage.
