Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns aligned with brand and business goals. 
  • Execution & Delivery: Independently handle the end-to-end PR lifecycle, from writing press releases to pitching stories and securing coverage. 
  • Draft compelling press releases, media notes, thought-leadership articles, and brand stories. 
  • Build and maintain direct relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media outlets. 
  • Track, monitor, and report media coverage, analyzing the impact of PR efforts. 
  • Manage PSI’s and its Ventures’ online reputation, including crisis communications if needed. 
  • Coordinate PR activities for events, product launches, and announcements. 
  • Research competitor activity and emerging industry trends to identify PR opportunities. 
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and content teams to maintain a unified brand voice. 

 

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of PR activities. 
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills for engaging with media professionals. 
  • Creative storytelling and the ability to position brand narratives effectively. 
  • Basic knowledge of PR/digital PR tools and media monitoring systems (Meltwater, Cision, Google Alerts, Talkwalker, etc.). 
  • Familiarity with social media PR (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X). 
  • Organizational skills to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines. 

 

Who Can Apply

  • Freshers or candidates with up to 6 months of PR/communications internship experience. 
  • Graduates in Mass Communication, Journalism, PR, Marketing, English Literature, or related fields (preferred, not mandatory). 
  • Self-driven individuals who can take complete charge of PR independently. 
  • Passion for media relations, brand-building, and impactful storytelling.
