PR Manager


Roles & Responsibilities

Public Relations

  • Develop and implement strategic PR plans to achieve client branding and visibility goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the lifestyle and home interiors industries.
  • Create compelling press releases, articles, and media pitches that resonate with target audiences.
  • Coordinate media opportunities, interviews, and press events to maximize coverage and visibility.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify proactive PR opportunities.
  • Manage crisis communications and mitigate negative publicity effectively.
  • Measure and report on PR campaign results and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure PR strategies align with overall business goals.


Business Development

  • Identify, pitch, and onboard new clients for PR services.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to generate leads.
  • Create tailored proposals and presentations to convert prospects.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and regularly follow up to close deals.
  • Work in coordination with the leadership team to define BD targets.
  • Incentive/Commission

    : Business development efforts will be compensated through a

    performance-based commission structure

    over and above the fixed salary. Details to be shared during the interview.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PR, preferably with a focus on lifestyle and/or home interiors brands.
  • Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements.
  • Strong network of media contacts in the lifestyle/home interiors space.
  • Experience with digital PR and social media strategies is a plus.
  • Prior experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales (preferred but not mandatory).
