About the Role

Concept PR is seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Director to lead and manage key clients in the BFSI sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise, strong media relationships, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive impactful communication programmes. You will serve as a senior partner to clients, lead strategy, guide execution, and mentor a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end communication strategy for BFSI clients across banking, insurance, fintech, NBFCs, and allied sectors.

• Provide strategic counsel to clients on industry trends, regulatory updates, risk management, and reputation-building initiatives.

• Drive proactive media outreach and uphold strong relationships with top-tier financial and business media.

• Oversee client servicing, narrative development, content creation, and crisis communication.

• Mentor and guide team members to deliver consistent performance and high-quality output.

• Identify opportunities to upsell, expand mandates, and grow business within key accounts.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting, insights, and performance analytics.

Key Requirements

• 10–12 years of PR/communications experience with strong exposure to BFSI clients.

• Excellent understanding of financial sector dynamics, compliance frameworks, and regulatory sensitivities.

• Established relationships with business, financial, and trade media.

• Proven ability in strategic planning, crisis management, thought leadership, and storytelling.

• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.

• Ability to handle multiple high-intensity accounts and meet tight deadlines.
