The Channel Partner BU Sales Representative is responsible for driving regional sales growth by developing new channel partners, nurturing existing relationships, and achieving sales targets for RMU (Ring Main Unit) products within the assigned territory. This role involves strategic planning, partner enablement, and coordination with internal teams to ensure successful order execution and partner satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed business unit goals and regional sales targets.
Channel Partner Management:
Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with channel partners to drive business growth and ensure high levels of partner engagement and satisfaction.
Partner Enablement:
Deliver product-related technical training and ongoing support to channel partners to enhance their sales capabilities and product knowledge.
Contract Management:
Prepare and maintain channel partner agreements specific to RMU business, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives.
Proposal Development:
Respond to sales inquiries by thoroughly reviewing RFQ documents and preparing comprehensive techno-commercial proposals, including clarifications, deviations, BOM, proposal drawings, and costing for MV Switchgear (RMU).
Cross-functional Coordination:
Collaborate with factory, vendors, and procurement teams to ensure accurate specifications and optimized offers.
Order Management:
Book RMU orders from partners in the system and prepare handover documentation for the execution team.
Project Kickoff & Monitoring:
Participate in kickoff meetings for large RMU orders and monitor partner order loading activities to support timely execution and inventory liquidation.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in channel sales, preferably in the electrical or switchgear industry.
Skills & Competencies
In-depth knowledge of MV Switchgear products, especially RMUs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain partner relationships.
Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and identify opportunities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
