Responsible to recieve in-bound and make out-bound calls to connect with JCI customers Note this will be individual contributor role Responsible for activities related to a broad cross section of Johnson Controls customer portfolios Analyze accounts and set targets - Collection plan / strategy at the beginning of month Responsible for overseeing collection activities of all the active cusotmers for North America & Canada region Manage Collection processes, provide early stage customer service and, where necessary, raise cases involving customer complaints Co-ordination with cusotmers and cash application team for remittance advise Support other finance operations by providing and receiving information from customers regarding invoicing, collection and cash application Maintain call logs and expected payment dates using your daily interactions with customers to encourage timely payment, as well as proactive contact on non-due invoices Analyze aging debt reports and initiate calls to, as well as receieve calls from customers Support the business by understanding customer disputes, assist with the research of cases to resolve invoicing and commercial customer service issues on accounts and support actions to prevent delinquent payment Account reconciliation - follow up with sales team and review open points and request customer master team to update system Manage and Process Adjustments, Promise to Pay/ Deductions / Payment Plans / Write Off's Issuing Dunning Letters and/Or Legal Proceedings for uncollected receivables What we look for? Graduate / Postgraduate / Master’s Degree in Commerce or relevant Graduate / Postgraduate / Master’s Degree in any stream Proficient in both verbal and written business communications 5 - 7 Years of experience required in North America Collections process Experience in North American process transition would be preferred Excellent English level with clear American pronunciation. Systems knowledge in ERPs (Baan, Qolsys, Amer, Oracle & SAP) will be preferred Proficiency in Collections Tools like Getpaid, Contact Tool, High Radius will be preferred Degree in business administration or professional experience focusing on Finance/Accounting.
