Project Supervisor

We at Green Future Collective are looking for a Project Supervisor (PS) for our ongoing outreach program under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) urban. The PS will be responsible for implementing ensuring seamless implementation of activities by outreach workers, documentation and creation of reports to aggregate and monitor progress of project goals. They will be reporting to the Program Officer and Managing Trustee.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)

• Act as the line manager for the team of Community Outreach workers across locations in Shahjahanpur, providing daily supervision, support, and mentorship;
• Coordinate community mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and awareness activities in line with Green Future Collective’s mission and project plans.
• Act as an intermediary between government representatives and field-level functionaries
• Collect and review weekly reports/data from team members for submission to the program team.
• Document any other report as required under the awareness program
• Lead and oversee field implementation of outreach, awareness, and behavior change campaigns at allocated locations.
• Plan, capture, and share videos per day showcasing community activities—using a smartphone and share eith editing team.
• Monitor performance of field teams, ensure quality, and resolve field-level challenges.
• Conduct regular field visits to provide guidance and check progress on-ground.
• Represent Green Future Collective in meetings with local officials, community leaders, and partners as delegated.
• Support recruitment, orientation, and on-the-job training of outreach staff.
• Foster a positive, energetic team environment while achieving project milestones and targets.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Graduated in any field of education
• Ability to read and type English for documentation and social media sharing.
• Minimum 2 years experience in community field-level initiatives (preferably under Swachh Bharat Mission or sanitation/waste-management programs).
• Experience with smartphone-based video capture.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate, and drive field teams to meet outreach goals.
• Good oral and written communication in Hindi and English.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working with NGOs, local government, or grassroots organisations.
• Proven track record of problem-solving in field settings.
• Familiarity with the communities and geography of Shahjahanpur district.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively with minimum supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and team-building skills.

Work Hours & Travel

This is a full-time field-based role with a schedule aligned to project/program needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
