Job Description

Job Title:

Job Summary:

Project Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in
container
,
Ro-Ro
, and
breakbulk cargo
segments.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to generate leads and qualify potential clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, shipping lines, and transporters.
Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations, and service presentations.
Negotiate pricing and terms of services in line with company policies.
Collaborate with internal operations and documentation teams to ensure timely execution of shipments.
Follow up on leads, convert prospects into active clients, and meet monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote Seashell Logistics services.
Maintain CRM data, provide sales forecasts, and prepare weekly/monthly reports for management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
2 to 3 years of proven experience in project sales within freight forwarding/logistics (preferably with exposure to Ro-Ro, Breakbulk, and Container services).
Strong network within the shipping and logistics industry, especially in Maharashtra region.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of INCOTERMS, shipping documentation, and multimodal logistics.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
OOG (Out-of-Gauge)
,
heavy lift cargo
, and
automotive logistics (Ro-Ro)
is a plus.
Knowledge of major Indian ports and container terminals.
Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures.
