Project Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Summary: The Senior Quantity Surveyor (Office-based) is responsible for preparing cost estimates, BOQs, tender documentation, and managing project budgets. This role focuses on office-based QS activities including contract administration, vendor coordination, and reporting to ensure financial control and efficiency in construction projects. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation. * Analyze rates, quotations, and prepare comparison statements. * Support contract negotiations and manage documentation. * Track project budgets, variations, and cost control measures. * Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts. * Coordinate with project/site teams for measurement details and updates. * Maintain proper records, MIS, and financial reports. * Liaise with consultants, vendors, and clients for approvals and clarifications. * Ensure compliance with company standards and contractual obligations. Key Skills Required: * Strong knowledge of QS practices, costing, and contracts. * Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software. * Analytical and detail-oriented with good documentation skills. * Strong communication and coordination abilities. *Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or equivalent. * 8+ years of experience in QS roles, with senior-level exposure. * Experience in construction office-based QS activities preferred.
