Project Quantity Surveyor

As a Civil Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects in Coimbatore, India. Your responsibilities will include cost estimation, cost control, contract administration, and ensuring timely and quality project completion. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, covering labor, materials, and equipment. - Create and maintain accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ). - Provide advice on cost-effective construction solutions and methods. - Monitor and track project costs throughout the project lifecycle. - Generate regular reports on cost status and project progress. - Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective measures. - Conduct site inspections to verify quantities, ensure contract compliance, and monitor project progress. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. - 2-5 years of proven experience in a civil quantity surveying role. - Proficiency in quantity surveying software. - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management principles. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Effective communication skills to liaise with contractors, clients, and project teams. - Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.
