Job Title: Pattern Maker Department: Production / Design Location: Vasai Reporting To: Production Manager Job Summary The Pattern Maker will be responsible for creating accurate patterns as per design requirements and ensuring all patterns meet the quality standards. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, using pattern-making tools, and collaborating closely with the design and production teams to achieve timely and precise outputs. Key Responsibilities Interpret and understand design sketches, technical drawings, and client specifications. Prepare accurate patterns using POP, wood, or other required materials as per project needs. Follow SOP drawings and ensure quality in all pattern-making activities. Conduct self-inspection and quality checks on patterns before handover. Coordinate with the production manager and design team for approvals and modifications. Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in proper condition. Ensure timely completion of patterns to meet production schedules. Maintain records of all patterns, revisions, and approvals. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of pattern-making techniques and materials. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Precision and attention to detail. Time management and ability to work under deadlines. Basic knowledge of safety procedures. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2–4 years of experience in pattern making (experience in FRP / GRC preferred). Fresher candidates with strong skills may also be considered. Good at Tool & Die Making, or relevant field.
Key Responsibilities 1. Client Management Interact with clients and external stakeholders to ensure queries are resolved on time Facilitate smooth communication with consultants, vendors, and partners throughout the project 2. Project Execution Prepare schematic design diagrams to demonstrate design evolution Develop architectural & interior design concepts and review design progress Create detailed presentation drawings and working drawings using AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and 3Ds Max Prepare architectural, civil, structural, and theme drawings, sectional & detailed shop drawings as per standards Generate accurate BOQs, specifications, and calculations Coordinate with site teams on all technical aspects and conduct regular site visits/audits 3. Innovation & Creativity Understand project briefs, budgets, and site conditions to propose unique design solutions Recommend adoption of latest technologies, processes, and materials 4. Process Orientation Ensure compliance with project documentation SoPs Maintain and submit drawing registers on a monthly basis Adhere to contractual terms while documenting and managing claims for additional work Educational Qualification UG: B.Arch – Architecture (Required) PG: M.Arch – Architecture (Preferred) Additional Skills / CertificationsAutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Google SketchUp, Photoshop (Required) BIM Modeling (up to LOD 300) (Preferred) Hand Sketching On-site execution experience Experience Required1–3 years in architecture and/or interior design End-to-end involvement in 3–4 projects (concept to completion) Minimum 1 year of client/consultant handling experience
